NexVoice-Centric Media Control

Nex was born out of frustration and disappointment with currently available media control devices, and the 1980’s style TV guide still in use today. Nex uses an IR repeater capable of receiving information via Wi-Fi alongside a companion smartphone/tablet application to provide an entirely new take on interacting with your TV content.

As the second piece I created for my entry portfolio to apply to Art Center College of Design, Nex also allowed me to explore voice-controlled interfaces, 3D printing, material exploration, and product design.
